what we see in the movie is not rejoicing but lots of is not new... to me, the most important thing is to remember that we watch what we are and that as long as we "work" on our consciousness, our vulnerability gets lower and lower.
i agree with tooktheredpill (:), me too) that when we become a heart society instead of a mental one, those practices will become superfluous and will just collapse.
it's good to be aware and not be in denial but even better to take ownership for what we nurture ourselves with, what we put in our private worlds and whether or not we surround ourselves with beauty... the more sensitive and intuitive we become, the more immune we are to manipulation.

Thank you for making this documentary.I am a Clinical hypnotherapist and am well aware of most of these tactics... the last 20-30 min was interesting. I was disappointed that it was heavy on argument and fear mongering and very little (2 mins max) on resolving the issue....but good wake up call for those who have their heads buried deep in the sand. I have a few ideas for taking our power back..one is to become a heart instead of head based society. The heart is 10x more intelligent and powerful than the mind. Would like to talk with you about ways in which to expand this idea and movement.

Being a Clinical hypnotherapist, I'm sure you probably are aware of most of the tactics we explore in the film. In fact, most viewers probably are familiar with a lot of the allegations, urban legends, subliminal techniques and other forms of subconscious manipulation that we address. And while I think there is also lots of new info, examples, and insights that we tried to include, the subject matter and the very notion of hidden persuasion to influence the masses is very old. As a Documentarian, my goal by definition was really to document as much of the alleged history on the topic in an objective, non-biased manner and to create a concise, educational and entertaining film. The arguments are really more those of our interview participants and the result is hopefully, an honest, often revealing and sometimes humorous expose with diverse viewpoints. Yet, all agree, that without adequate education, restrictions and full-disclosure, a very serious, frightening issue, and violation of human rights that affects us all.
